Vintage 1930’s Alfred Meakin Astoria Design Serving Platter – Cascadia Pattern Utensils which is now VitroThe Cascadia pattern was released by Alfred Meakin, Tunstall during the 1930s and displays a lovely bright multi coloured floral pattern with an embossed detail on a 18ct gold trimmed scalloped rim. The design of the platter is classically known as Astoria. Although this pattern (not the design) was discontinued by Alfred Meakin during the 1940s it was one of the patterns which became part of the Churchill Group in 1976. Alfred Meakin operated from
